Report Violations

The Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement (DOCARE) is the law enforcement agency for Hawai‘i’s Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR). DOCARE officers are responsible for enforcing all State laws and Hawai‘i Administrative Rules, and patrol over 6 million acres of state ocean waters and land, including over 700 miles of coastline.

Please kōkua by reporting any suspicious or illegal activities involving natural, cultural, or historic resources. There are 3 ways you can help report violations:

1. Call the DLNR Enforcement Statewide Hotline: (808) 643-DLNR (643-3567)

2. Text your report or tip to the number: 847411. Be sure to include your island’s keyword (See Text Island Keywords below for guidance)
